Tool Practice

More than a tool. A way to learn.

When you purchase a Sana Luna tool, you’re not simply receiving a tool to use on your own. You’re also being invited to learn how to explore its energetic use with me.

Each tool offers different possibilities through pressure, movement, placement, touch, and awareness. Here, I’ll share the different ways I work with each tool so you can begin to understand its variations and explore them through your own practice.

You purchase the tool.

I help you learn how to work with it.

ACUPRESSURE PEN

1. Short Introduction

The Acupressure Pen
The acupressure pen gives you a more precise way to connect with the body through touch. In Sana Luna practice, the pen becomes an extension of your hand, allowing you to explore pressure, movement, placement, and the body’s response.

It is not about simply finding a point and pressing. It is about learning to notice, respond, and explore what changes through contact.

🌿 Pause & Notice

Pause. Breathe. Notice what your skin and body are communicating today.

The way you hold, place, and move the pen can change the experience. I use the pen as an extension of touch, allowing me to work with the body while staying attentive to subtle changes in sensation, texture, tension, and response.

🌿 A Moment of Presence

Pause. Breathe. Notice what your skin and body are communicating today.

1. Wild Drop

Drop the pen onto the ground or another surface and allow the impact as it lands to activate the spark. Three drops establish the intensity; more than three does not create greater intensity.

2. Drill

Use a small rotational movement of the pen to create a deeper feeling. The Drill can be performed directly on the tissue or within the Bridge.

3. Rings

Use the rings of the pen with a circular rubbing motion to activate a deeper feeling. This can be done directly in the tissue or within the Bridge.

4. The Bridge

Find the funky, uneven tissue and engage it by extending or flexing the muscle. Start the Bridge at 6 inches away from the body, pause to find the connection, then extend farther while exploring the sensitivity and strength of the connection.

5. Friction / Micro-Circles

Use small, slow circular movements with the pen to explore and establish connection with the tissue.

6. Coloring

Slowly move the pen along an area or natural pathway, as though coloring the tissue, exploring sensation while building warmth and flow.

7. Extension

Use the pen as an extension of the body. As you lengthen away from the body, explore for sensitivity and the strength of the connection.
